S01 E17: Why I Choose to be ALL ME® – MLB Pitcher, Chris Sale

The ALL ME® Podcast

S01 E17:  World Series Champion Chris Sales Talks ALL ME®

Chris Sale is one of the best Pitchers in Major League Baseball.  Drafted in 2010 he quickly rose to success.  Sale was drafted by the Chicago White Sox in 2010 where he played for 6 seasons before signing with the Boston Red Sox.

Throughout his first 10 years in the big leagues Chris is a 7-time All-Star, he is a 2-time American League strikeout leader with a 1.23 career strikeout per inning pitched and a 2018 World Series Champion.  He also holds the MLB Record for reaching 2,000 strikeouts in the fewest innings!

Sale has not only had great success in his career but he has also had to overcome injury, which can lead many athletes down the road of temptation to use Appearance and Performance Enhancing Substances, but not Chris.  Early on Chris had some values of fair play, no cheating and a solid work ethic taught to him by his father.  In this episode Chris is going to share with us why he has taken the stance against the use of Appearance and Performance Enhancing Substances as well as why it’s important for him to support the Taylor Hooton Foundation’s ALL ME® League.  You’re going to hear about his childhood growing up and how throughout his life he’s been told to get bigger, stronger, faster and put on weight, despite him being a dominate MLB Pitcher.

A special thank you to Rick Cerrone of Cerrone Communications and Kevin Gregg from the Boston Red Sox for getting this incredible interview scheduled.
