NASHVILLE, Tenn. (February 2, 2015) – Aegis Sciences Corporation, founded in 1990 as a sports anti-doping laboratory,  and the Taylor Hooton Foundation, the national leader in the effort to a national campaign to end the rampant use of Appearance and Performance Enhancing Drugs, anabolic steroids and dietary supplements among America’s youth, announced a three-year partnership beginning in 2015. This partnership will arm young athletes with resources and information to ensure they compete clean. The Taylor Hooton Foundation is a non-profit corporation widely recognized at the national leader in the advocacy against Appearance and Performance Enhancing Drug (APED) use by the youth of America.  The foundation was created in memory of Taylor E. Hooton, a 17-year old high school student athlete who took his own life in 2003 as a result of anabolic steroid use.
