AP survey: College drug-testing all over the map

MLB and other professional leagues have come under withering scrutiny with respect to their steroid testing programs.  Somehow, the NCAA has avoided that spotlight.

Bonds lied when he testified he never used steroids, prosecutor says

In short, Bonds admits using steroids but claims that he didn’t know they were steroids.  He thought they were some form of flaxseed oil!

Man charged with manufacturing and selling steroids

GLEN BURNIE, Md. – Anne Arundel County Police arrested and charged a 29-year-old Glen Burnie man with manufacturing and selling steroids from his home.

On March 17 officers went to the home of Leonard Phelps in the 7200-block of Mockingbird Circle.

With a warrant, the officers search Phelps’ home. Inside they found the following items.

Cops Selling Steroids Seized from Bodybuilders

Commander Norman Wielsch (of the Central Contra Costa County Narcotics Enforcement Team) and Private Investigator Chris Butler (of Butler and Associates) were arrested for selling anabolic steroids and narcotics according to a 28-count criminal complaint.   • A drug dealer is busted for selling steroids and claims that’s he’s been selling to area high school athletes.
  • School officials are in “shock” as they can’t believe that their athletes would do something like this
  • The Feds now claim that local cops tipped off the drug dealer in order to help him avoid arrest.

HS Coaches “shocked” by the arrest of local steroid dealer

A steroid dealer gets busted for selling steroids to Connecticut high school athletes and the local high school coaches are “shocked”.  They are all confident that “none of my players has ever used steroids”.
