Nebraska Steroid Bust
Excerpts from Four-Month Drug Probe Yields Steroids, Guns, Arrest, WOWT Channel 6. A Nebraska man in jail after being subject to a four month investigation. Anthony Acome sealed his fate after completing a drug transaction with undercover agents. Reports indicate that he was manufacturing steroids right in his home after receiving ingredients from overseas, then allegedly selling them on the streets of Omaha. Acome faces three counts of delivery of a controlled substance, one count of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and one count of possession of a firearm while delivering a controlled substance. Steroids remain very easy to manufacture and sell. Given the tight nature of the gym communities, these types of sellers, with no middle man, can operate for a long time before being sniffed out by law enforcement. Omaha police deserve respect for getting these dangerous drugs off of Nebraska streets. The Taylor Hooton Foundation is dedicated to raising awareness of the dangers of steroids.
